My Day Off
I’m a first-year student of electronic (mechanical) department at Belarusian National Technical University. I study six days a week and don’t have much free time on week-days. So I look forward to the weekend when I can relax and have a rest. Usually I spend my day off with the people who are very close to me and whose company I always enjoy. These are my friends and relatives. Sometimes when I’m tired and don’t want to talk to anybody I spend my day off alone, reading a book or listening to music. But in general I’m for active rest.
There are many places you can go to like cinemas, theatres, museums, cafes, parties. You can also go out of town and enjoy fresh air and a change of scenery. A lot of men like to go fishing for a weekend. If the weather is cold or wet there are plenty of things to do indoors. You can read books, listen to music, watch TV, use the Internet, play computer games and so on. A day off for me is a nice possibility to escape from daily University routine. When a weekend comes I try very hard to have good time.
